Tell us what you thought of Raw and Impact in our post-show polls!
Welcome one and all to tonight's live coverage of Monday Night Raw, as we officially kick off the long awaited Second Monday Night War! We jump right into the thick of things with the Undertaker, and I bet he's going to talk about Shawn Michaels. The lights dim to Undertaker purple as the Undertaker says that last week was symbolic of what Shawn Michaels' life has become since becoming #17 in the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak. HBK chant starts. Undertaker says that Shawn's life has a dark cloud hanging over him, and Shawn's obsession with ridding himself of that cloud will cost him the ultimate price: his career. Undertaker says what Shawn needs to understand is that after Wrestlemania, there will be no tomorrows, no celebrations, no sense of triumph, for Shawn there will be no victory, only the same dark cloud hovering over his head for the rest of his life. It brings the Undertaker no joy to say that in three weeks, Shawn's career will REST...IN...uh oh, Shawn Michaels' music hits and here he comes to confront the Undertaker. Shawn says that Undertaker hasn't earned the right to finish his line yet, and admits that Wrestlemania 25 has been hanging over his head like a dark cloud and last week he went to bed full of rage, but when he woke up the cloud was gone. He had an epiphany, because the reason he cost Undertaker the title at the Elimination Chamber was because he had no choice, but when Undertaker interfered last week, he didn't have to. Shawn says that for the first time in the Undertaker's heart, he experienced fear. Undertaker says that if he were Shawn, he'd choose his next words very carefully. Shawns responds by saying...FEAR! Because Undertaker's the only one who knows how close Shawn came to ending it all last year, and that's why he asked Shawn to put his career on the line, because he thought he'd intimidate Shawn into saying no, but he didn't. Shawn says he wouldn't risk everything if he didn't know he could beat Undertaker. Shawn says nobody lives a perfect life, nothing lasts forever, and at Wrestlemania, he's going to prove it. Undertaker says he can't tell if he's looking at a man who exudes confidence or if he's really looking at a man full of pitiful desperation. Shawn responds that he's not desperate, and that last year he would have taken a countout or anything that would have given him a victory, but not this year, and then he proposes that this year there's no countouts, no disqualifications, the match only ends by pinfall or submission, and that this year, he's going to kick Undertaker's teeth down his throat and beat him. Undertaker tells him it's a deal, and that Shawn has chosen his own demise. Undertaker says he can look in Shawn's eyes and see the fire, passion, and will, and can look into his soul and say that he sees that he honestly thinks he can beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania, and that's what makes him the Showstopper, the Main Eventer, and Mr Wrestlemania...but not this year. Undertaker tells Shawn that in his opinion, Shawn may be the greatest to ever step in the ring, but on March 28th, he will open up the gates of Hell and unleash a fury that no mortal man has ever seen to make sure that at Wrestlemania, Shawn's career is over. Shawn tells Undertaker to keep telling himself that, and that after Wrestlemania, the dark cloud is going to come back, but this time it'll be hanging over Undertaker, and the dark cloud is going to follow him everywhere he goes, and inside that dark cloud is going to be an image that will haunt him for the rest of his life, an image of Shawn Michaels ending the streak. Shawn walks off as the Undertaker is left standing, visibly perturbed, in the ring as Shawn turns and stares him down from the entrance ramp.
We're live in Portland three weeks away from Wrestlemania, and later on tonight Randy Orton takes on Dibiase & Rhodes in a handicap match, and Mr McMahon takes on John Cena!

Maryse takes a shot at Kelly then gets up in Gail's face, but Gail smacks her in the mouth and tags out to Eve, who comes in with a trilogy of dropkicks, but Maryse goes to the eyes and whips Eve in for a backdrop, but Eve yanks Maryse down by the hair and gets a somersault senton for 2. Alicia and Katie come in, but Kelly and Gail come in with a pair of dropkicks to run them off. Maryse charges Eve in the corner and eats elbow, Eve goes up top and gets Rocky Romero's rolling Fujiwara armbar for the submission win!
Winners: Gail Kim, Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly
We go backstage to guest host Criss Angel, who is hanging out with...you guessed it, Hornswoggle. In come the Bella Twins, who are big fans of Angel's Vegas show. They want to be part of his act, but he has no use for twins, and instead pulls a thread off of one of their sweaters, eats it, and pulls it out his eye. That is just disgusting. They follow this up with Jillian coming in also wanting to be part of Angel's act and she starts singing. He tells her to stops and hypnotizes her so that when she tries to sing, she can't! They should have had him on here months ago.
We see Big Show and Miz walking backstage as we go to commercial.
We're back from commercial, and ShowMiz is on their way to the ring. Miz tells us that John Morrison & R-Truth earned the right to challenge for the Unified Tag Team Title at Wrestlemania, but not since Lex Luger and the British Bulldog have such a boring team gotten a shot at the tag team title, and they'd even rather face the Bushwhackers at Wrestlemania, at least they're an actual team. He says shame on the WWE Universe for not realizing what is standing in front of them, they are hot commodities because they are the last truly great tag team in WWE. This brings out Morrison and R-Truth for a non-title match.
Unified Tag Team Champions ShowMiz vs John Morrison & R-Truth
Truth and Miz start as Morrison baseball slides Show off the apron, and then Truth and Morrison double clothesline Miz over the top, then do a double baseball slide to Miz on the floor. Show comes over to try and grab them, but they ram him into the ringpost and DDT him on the floor as the referee calls for the bell. Truth and Morrison go back to working Miz over and give him a gourdbuster on the guardrail, then get in the ring where Morrison takes the mic and says that Miz says they're not a real team, but they just showed how real they are.
Winner: No Contest
Later tonight: Randy Orton takes on Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes, and Mr McMahon takes on John Cena!
We're back from commercial as we go to a recap package of the Cena-Batista feud, including some of Batista's awesome promo from last week and video of Batista breaking Cena's neck at Summerslam 2008. We go backstage to Josh Matthews, who is with John Cena. Cena admits that he's never beaten Batista, Batista has broken his neck, and taken his championship, and obviously has his number, and the only thing he can do is go out there and beat him. Josh asks him if he anticipates Batista getting involved, and Cens says he's counting on it.
Evan Bourne is backstage thanking Criss Angel for his Money In The Bank qualifying match with William Regal tonight, but is interrupted by William Regal and Skip Sheffield, who come in and Skip asks Angel to perform a trick for him. Regal writes 56 on a piece of paper, Angel guesses it, and Skip tells Regal he owes him a Travis Tritt CD. I wonder how many people are going to buy Wrestlemania because of that segment.
We go back to Elimination Chamber to relive Ted Dibiase eliminating Randy Orton from the Elimination Chamber match, leading into our next match:
Handicap Match: Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton
Orton jumps Legacy from behind on their way down the ramp, then jumps in the ring and awaits them as we go to commercial.
We're back from commercial and the bells rings to start the match. Cody starts with Randy, and it looks like we're doing tag rules for this handicap match. Cody takes Randy to the corner and puts the boots to him, but Orton turns it around and goes to work on Cody, whipping him into the ropes and catching him with an elbow. Now, Legacy was able to beat Triple H 2-on-1 so it stands to reason they ought to be able to handle Orton...right? Dibiase tags in and lays in some rights to Orton, but Orton catches Dibiase coming off the ropes with a clothesline and Dibiase backs off. Legacy confers in the corner before Cody tags back in and takes a boot to the gut from Orton, who then whips Cody into the corner, but eats elbow on a charge and Dibiase gets a cheapshot on Orton from the outside. Rhodes lays in a couple of shots on Orton and goes for a cover, but only gets one. Orton backdrops Rhodes over the top and Dibiase tries to sneak in from behind, but Orton catches him and Dibiase hightails it to the floor and Orton stands alone in the ring as we go to commercial.
We're back from commercial as Orton is fighting his way out of Legacy's corner. Rhodes leapfrogs Orton but eats a clothesline, but Orton takes too much time and Rhodes gets a jawbreaker and tosses Orton to the floor where he loses a scuffle with Dibiase. The fact that Legacy hasn't won this match by now makes them look like such chumps. Rhodes goes to the floor and works Orton over and tosses him back in the ring as the crowd starts chanting for Orton. Tag out to Dibiase, who comes in and HITS THE CHINLOCK! Well, he did learn something from Orton after all. Orton fights his way out but Dibiase takes his head off with a stiff clothesline for 2. Dibiase takes Orton back to the Legacy corner and tags in Rhodes, who nails Orton with a beautiful dropkick for 2. Tag back out to Dibiase, who lays in several shots in the corner and chokes Orton with his boot. Dibiase and Rhodes both in now to double team Orton, but Orton fights his way out and has powerslams for both guys. Orton starts working Dibiase over in the corner and gets his pet neckbreaker, stops to admire the Wrestlemania sign, and starts slithering. Rhodes comes in from behind and grabs Orton, and Orton fights him off but Dibiase comes from behind and nails Dreamstreet for the (upset?) win.
Winners: Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes
Rhodes hits CrossRhodes after the match and Legacy stands tall doing the Randy Orton pose just to rub salt in the wound.
We go backstage to Batista, as Josh Matthews asks him for his thoughts on John Cena expecting him to get involved in tonight's main event. Batista says Cena is paranoid and gives his word as WWE Champion that he will not get involved in his match tonight, and tells Josh that if he sees John, to tell him that he's pulling for him.
Later tonight: Mr McMahon takes on John Cena!
Triple H is walking backstage...and he looks determined!
We're back, and Triple H is on his way to the ring, spewing water on his way down the ramp and again on the ring apron. I wonder if he does that when he's not at work, like does he do that before dinner and before he goes in the grocery store? Before we hear what Mr H has to say, we take a look back at last week as Sheamus made a surprise return and beat the bejeesus out of Hunter. Back to the ring, as Triple H says he kind of respects Sheamus for what he did last week, because if he got his butt kicked by somebody who cost him his WWE Title and gave him a concussion, he'd want to kick his butt too. Way to put the young guys over, Hunter. Triple H is interrupted by Sheamus, who walks to the ring with a purpose and gets right in Hunter's face. Sheamus says he'll make a statement on Triple H at Wrestlemania if Triple H has the guts. Triple H says Sheamus has probably had the biggest first year of anyone in the business (wink wink), but he's never been to Wrestlemania, and until he's done that, his other accomplishments mean nothing. Triple H says he's been where Sheamus is now, and when he was young he jumped on the biggest star he could get at Wrestlemania, and he got crushed. I wonder whatever happened to that guy? But anyway, Triple H kept at it and became a big star and has fought all the stars at Wrestlemania, and the short list of guys who have beaten him at Wrestlemania have become superstars. But there's a much longer list of guys who have lost to him at Wrestlemania and dropped into a pit of obscurity. Triple H tells Sheamus it's a big gamble, and you have to risk it all for one shot at being immortal at Wrestlemania, or being nothing. Before Sheamus takes that gamble, he had better be sure. Sheamus considers for a moment, then starts to back up...then takes a swing at Hunter. A brawl ensues and Triple H clotheslines Sheamus over the top to the floor, but Sheamus drags him under the bottom rope and works him over on the floor. Triple H dodges the pump kick and dives onto Sheamus, and they both go over the rail. The brawl continues back to the ringside area and back into the ring where Triple H hits a spinebuster and sends Sheamus scurrying to the floor. Sheamus looks really mad as Triple H stares him down from the ring.
We go to the back with Criss Angel, who is deep in conversation with Santino Marella, who talks about all his Italian relatives like Ralph Macchio who were there and then...POOF...disappeared. He name drops Harry Houdini, and Angel says that Houdini wasn't Italian, he was from Budapest. Then he takes out a knife and four cups and tells Santino to hide the knife under one of the cups and not tell Angel which one. Angel turns his back as Santino hides the knife as I wonder what the hell any of this has to do with wrestling. Of course Angel guesses the correct cup and then we go to commercial. See, why would we want wrestling when we can watch this for two hours?
After commercial, we see the Money In The Bank briefcase hanging over the ring as we go to another Money In The Bank qulaifier!
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match: Evan Bourne vs William Regal
I would love to see this match in ROH. Christian is at ringside with Heath Slater to observe while Regal is accompanied to the ring by Skip Sheffield. No problem with them getting a little NXT plug in there. Regal pounds away on Bourne to start with forearms, but Bourne comes back with some kicks and comes off the ropes but runs into an elbow by Regal. Regal with a second elbow and a butterfly suplex for 2. Regal with his slamplex thing and goes for the running knee, but Bourne catches him with a leg lariat and goes up top and hits Air Bourne for the win.
Winner: Evan Bourne
With this win, Evan Bourne joins Christian, MVP, Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Kane, and Jack Swagger in Money In The Bank at Wrestlemania, and celebrates by pointing at the Wrestlemania 26 banner.
Still to come tonight: Mr McMahon takes on John Cena.
We come back from commercial, and this week's Wrestlemania Recall is of...wow, it's Goldberg and Lesnar from Wrestlemania 20! There's something I never expected to see on WWE TV ever again. Speaking of Austin, he's guest hosting Raw next week!
We get a video package recapping the last few weeks of the Bret Hart-Vince McMahon feud, and then we see McMahon walking backstage, and he'll battle John Cena next!
We're back, and next week is not only going to see Steve Austin guest hosting, but it's also going to be Wrestlemania Rewind week as we'll see John Cena vs Big Show (Wrestlemania 20), Triple H vs Randy Orton (Wrestlemania 25), and Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho (Wrestlemania 19), as well as the official contract signing for the Bret Hart-Mr McMahon match!
Criss Angel finally makes his appearance in front of the crowd, as Michael Cole informs us that he's been named Magician Of The Decade for the last five years. That math doesn't quite add up. Criss Angel says he's honored to be here live on Raw and asks us if we're ready. Shouldn't he have asked that before the last fifteen minutes of the show? He hypes the crowd up for the main event and introduces the participants, first John Cena and then Mr McMahon, but before the match starts McMahon grabs the mic and says that he knows Bret is watching this in Calgary, and nothing against Criss Angel, but the result of this match will be no illusion, and by the way, this isn't just any match...it's a gauntlet handicap match! Vince motions to the back and out comes Vladimir Kozlov, who rushes the ring to start the main event.
Gauntlet Match: John Cena vs Mr McMahon And Company
Kozlov comes in and lays Cena right out with a powerslam, then gets a double overhook and rams headbutts into Cena's chest, then hits a big spinebuster and tags Vince in. Vince casually strolls over, salutes, and covers Cena...for 2. Vince motions to the back, and out comes Drew McIntyre, who mounts Cena and rains right hands down on Cena's face. McIntyre with a Flatliner and then tags Vince back in, and Vince shoots the half, hooks the leg...and gets 2 again. Vince motions to the back yet again, and now it's Jack Swagger...as we go to commercial.
We come back and Cena's somehow standing over Swagger, leading us to believe the tables somehow turned during the commercial break. Cena with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Swagger counters out, rams Cena into the corner, and powerslams him. Vince wants to tag in but Swagger waves him off and hits a running Vader Bomb out of the corner. Swagger says one more time, and nails another running Vader Bomb. Vince tags back in yet again as I wait for Batista to be the last guy to come out. Vince covers and gets 2, then covers him again and gets another 2. Vince motions to the back yet again, and this time it's Mark Henry, and it seems Cena's about to get his wig split. Henry palms Cena's head and gives him the World's Strongest Slam, then tags in Vince, who covers and gets another 2 count. Way to kill the finishers of everybody on your Raw roster! Vince goes to the floor and grabs the mic and ring bell, and declares this to now be a no disqualification handicap Gauntlet Match. Mark Henry tries to talk Vince out of nailing Cena with the ring bell, and Vince says no problem, then hands Henry the bell and tells him to hit Cena. Henry says no way and tosses the bell, then turns around into a spear from Batista. Now here come the reinforcements as Kofi Kingston comes out and attacks Batista, but Batista kills him with a Batista Bomb. Cena attacks Batista and takes him out with a clothesline before turning his attention to Vince. Vince backs off and drops the ring bell, Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but gets speared by Batista, Batista follows that up with the Batista Bomb and wouldn't you know it, that's enough for Vince to finally score the win over Cena. It was a sloppy cover, but at least he hooked the leg. Monsoon would be proud.
Winner: Vince McMahon
Batista stands over Cena and the lights go down as he raises his hands and screams in victory.

RESULTS : Power Trip Wrestling - 3rd Birthday Show - 'Chasing Dreams' - Saturday 6th March 2010, Luton, Bedfordshire
And what a wild and exciting evening it was. Power Trip Wrestling turned three years old this weekend, and we had the usual array of crazy events leading up to, during, and after the show. This included enforced changes, and some rather extra curricular problems, which listed :
- PTW World Champion Conor Hurley having to withdraw from the show last minute for undisclosed reasons.
- Irish star Mandrake having to withdraw from the show due to other commitments.
- Former ROH star Azrael withdrawing from the show due to an injured collarbone.
- PTW posters being torn down from shops, and the PTW telephone line being temporarily cancelled; by the cheap and immature tactics of a local 'promotion' in the area.
- PTW's man in charge, Petey Staniforth, having suffered two concussions in a week in February, and still very much on the injured list due to a serious blood clot on his left hip; from a severe blow suffered on a show three weeks prior.
So, as you've guessed, nothing's ever quiet or 'normal' at PTW, and here's what went on, on the night itself!
* The ever abrasive and arrogant Petey Staniforth, looking rather different on this occasion to say the least with a bright orange silk shirt and his new extremely short haircut, was introduced to the crowd. Instantly heckled and abused by PTW's regular fans, Petey's temper snapped straight off. He then introduced what he called his 'best friend in the entire business', Dan Edge, to the ring; and the two of them spoke of how Conor Hurley's not being there opened up the main event playing field. Staniforth called that there would be a battle royal, with the winner getting to face Dan (managed by Petey) in the main event. He then demanded Drew Hawthorne come to the ring, to explain his actions from PTW's show in Derby in February. As the crowd in Luton looked on, Staniforth berated Hawthorne angrily, speaking of the most disgusting, despicable, appalling moment in professional wrestling history. We quote Petey : "When Vince heard, he was shocked. When Dixie heard, she was heartbroken. My god, Paul Heyman wanted to get a telephone and hit you upside the head when he found out"...
As the Luton crowd sat in amazement, it turned out Petey was referring to how he felt Drew Hawthorne was to blame for Petey's favourite hat getting stolen in February! Staniforth then, in some kind of symbolic gesture, kissed Hawthorne on the forehead, apologised.....and viciously knocked him out cold with his steel Clipboard of Doom - at the same time that Dan Edge low blowed him with one of his metal crutches. A broken Drew Hawthorne laid prone on the mat, but was saved by Sean Midnight and Tracey Kilby; who ran Edge and Staniforth away from the scene.
* G & Del Rico defeated El Ligero & Martin Kirby. This exciting, fast paced, action packed opener set the tone for the show.
* Tommy Lust won a battle royal to advance to the main event to face Dan Edge. A hard fought victory saw the 80's rock music lover take the win, and his spot in the main event of the evening.
* Dragonian w/Tiffany Wantsmore defeated Sean Midnight w/Tracey Kilby. These two have serious issues with each other, and nothing was settled here at all, as even the girls got into it after the match with Kilby and Wantsmore fighting all the way into the backstage area.
* PTW World Tag Team Champions Nemesis ('Scumboy' Dani Graves & Prodigy) defeated The Stevens Brothers w/Olivier Davenport The Third, to retain the titles. PTW's Tag Team Champions are currently on quite a roll of success right now, and are looking very good.
* 'Mr Clean' Anton Green w/Gabriel Myers defeated El Pura Puente. Classic cheating tactics from Green and Myers were what decided this match, to the crowd's disapproval.
* In a PTW 'Opportunity Knocks' match, Chris Brookes & Evan Sarven defeated Blond Jovi (Ben Rage & JD Sassoon). All four men in this match made a very big impression, and we hear there will be an announcement soon in regards to this match and the competitors in it; from the PTW Office.
* PTW British Champion Mason Storm defeated Andy 'Boy' Simmonz. This match even saw the action go to the outside, and around the hall itself; spilling out onto the merchandise tables and more, but Mason Storm managed to take the victory over the former WWE star Simmonz.
* In the main event, to the crowd's approval, Tommy Lust w/Drew Hawthorne defeated Dan Edge w/Petey Staniforth. This one was simply...wild. And one major story was the already well known to be very much on the injured list, Petey Staniforth, take one hell of a beating through the match itself. On three seperate occasions, Staniforth was knocked from the ring apron to the solid floor, each time with more of a sickening thud than before. Lust also attacked Petey outside of the ring, with an uppercut and kicks. Later in the match, Lust hit a baseball slide onto Petey and knocked him to the floor once more; and each time Staniforth was down for longer and longer, and barely getting up. Hawthorne even got in on the action in regards to Petey, as he slapped him viciously; and again, the by now punch drunk Staniforth was barely with it in regards to consciousness. In the ring, Edge did the best that he could in the ring, but not having his manager/best friend there in full health to help him cheat, clearly damaged his game plan somewhat. Tommy Lust took the very popular victory in the match, to send the fans home happy for the night; and even finished it off by delivering a wedgie to Dan Edge, much to the crowd's amusement.
* From all of us at Power Trip Wrestling, we thank you all worldwide for three years of your support. Wrestling Great Angelo Poffo Passes Away at Age 84
Source: Mike Mooneyham of The Post and Courier
Longtime pro wrestling star Angelo Poffo, the father of “Macho Man” Randy Savage (Randy Poffo) and “Leaping” Lanny Poffo, died in his sleep Thursday at his home in Sarasota, Fla., at the age of 84.
Poffo was known for many things during his wrestling career, but one of his most noted accomplishments occurred before he ever stepped into a ring. While serving in the U.S. Navy in 1945, he set a world’s record for sit-ups, completing 6,033 in four hours and 10 minutes. He had planned to stop at 6,000, but as a devout Roman Catholic who felt grateful he hadn’t died during the marathon, “I did an extra 33, one for each year of the Lord’s life.” In recent years, the mark has been bettered, but not by anyone using the old-fashioned, elbows-to-knee, locked-hands style, according to the wrestler.
The Illinois native broke into the business in 1949 and held a number of titles during his 35-year ring career. He was a major star in the ‘50s when he held the U.S. heavyweight title in Chicago and later in Cincinnati and Detroit.
Poffo also enjoyed success in tag-team circles, teaming up with Chris Markoff in Indianapolis during the mid-’60s as Bobby Heenan-managed Devil’s Duo, and in the early ‘70s with Ken Dillinger as The Graduates.
Poffo launched the IWA (International Wrestling Association) out of Lexington, Ky., in 1979, in opposition to the more established promotion run by Jerry Jarrett in Nashville. The result was a heated wrestling war between the two groups. Two of Poffo’s biggest stars were his sons, with Randy holding the promotion’s world title and Lanny his top rival, although the fact that they were real brothers was not revealed until late in their feud.
Poffo’s last official match was with Luis Martinez in 1991. He was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 1995.

Maria Kanellis' release from World Wrestling Entertainment is being seen as a surprise considering that the fans voted her WWE Diva of the Year in an online poll last December not to mention that she will be appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, which debuts in two weeks on NBC. She herself has told friends she was blindsided by the release and that she had no reason to believe it was coming.
Her departure was said to be due to management's negative reaction to an interview she did with The Sun this past January where she said she wasn't sure how much longer she'd stay with WWE because she had outside interests and would like to start a family at some point.
"I'm starting to do other things and it's partially because one day I want to be a mom and I want to get married and you can't really do that when you're on the road," Kanellis told The Sun. "So I've got to find a job that will allow me to do that."
When the interview drew a bad reaction, she did a follow-up interview to clarify that it was long way away and that she had no plans on leaving anytime soon. In the day following her release, she did a third interview to say it was not her decision to leave WWE, nor did she ask for a release. However, she did note that "when a bad relationship is over, you move on." She also said WWE was holding her back from expanding her career. WWE officials were not high on her asking to take deals outside of the company.
One company source said Vince McMahon had been negative on her in meetings in recent few weeks, with one person claiming she came back with a change in attitude after returning from Celebrity Apprentice.
"She always made my honor roll of talent to deal with on the Divas end of the roster. Super easy going and actually played a role well as the bubbly ditz," said one former WWE writer of Maria. "However, Vince knows all too well about how the ego swells when the performers get some mainstream traction and it never benefits the company."
Some of the wrestlers have an idea on how she performed on Celebrity Apprentice, with one person close to the matter saying he expects her to come out of the season looking like a star and could not understand why WWE would cut ties with her. Another wrestler said this was likely the situation because WWE figures if you find success outside of wrestling, you're going to receive outside offers and end up leaving wrestling anyway, noting what happened with Stacy Keibler.
While Maria weighs her future, she will be pursuing a career in music in the meantime as she is expected to release her debut album Sevin Sins on Apr. 13 on iTunes.
HBK out to the ring in street clothes, sans Cowboy hat! Video from Elimination Chamber when HBK screwed Taker out of his title by climbing through the floor of the Chamber and hitting sweet chin music on him. Then he explained why he did what he did at Elimination Chamber. He told Taker to get his revenge at WM, but HBK’s career has to be on the line. HBK lifts the mic but is stopped by “HBK” chants. He says there’s a buzz around the locker room that everyone thinks he’s crazy for putting his career on the line at WM. As he walks the Hall of the WWE locker room he sees his peers and look them in the eye and they look away. He see them whispering and they look away. Not a one of them believes in him. None of them thinks he can beat Taker at WM. He recognizes the undefeated streak is 17-0, but nobody’s given Taker a run for his money they way he has. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, as an undeniable fact that he is Mr. WM! He believes he can end Taker’s WM streak. For all of his peers who don’t believe in him, he’ll give them an opportunity. He wants them out there, look him in the eye, man to man and tell him he can’t win! HHH’s music hits! The fans go wild! HHH doesn’t look happy heading for the ring. HBK says his friend for 15 years doesn’t believe in him? HHH says no, he doesn’t think HBK can beat Taker at WM. “I know you can!” HHH knows that because, look him in the eye, between them, he’s wrestled everyone in this business. Anyone who’s anyone, he’s looked in his eyes. He can tell HBK honestly, from the bottom oh his heart, HBK’s the best he’s ever been in the ring with. He wants to talk about his peers? In that locker room he has no peers. That night HBK truly is Mr. WM! The road to WM takes them down different paths. He can tell HBK with 100% certainty that DX will never die, but it will be a long time before they’re in the ring together again. He’d hat for that to be them losing the Tag Team Champions to Miz and Big Show. That’s why he invoked our rematch clause. Tonight. HBK says he believes… he’s cut off by emotion and the “DX” chants. He appreciates the opportunity, but they’re going down different paths. HHH says it’s not about the Tag Team Champions. If your tag team champ you don’t have to defend for 30 days. 28 days from now will be RAW, the night after WM. That night they come out and throw a celebration like only DX can throw. Because now, he’ll be known as the man who ended Taker’s streak at WM. Nothing to do with being tag team champs. It’s about HHH’s belief in HBK. He believes HBK will still be there after WM. He believes Taker streak will come to an end. He believes HBK will beat Taker. That’s just what HHH believes. What does HBK believe? “HBK” chants. HBK says he believes they have some tag team titles to win tonight! They hug and pose for the fans. Another handshake/hug and they leave the ring together.
Cheech and Chong backstage loving the hippy set up back there. The Bellas want to see their show and they said they’ll set it up. Cheech said they’re not really those guys, they’re just characters. Chong sends them off. Someone comes in and says he’s seen the show enough to know he’s real. In comes Hornswoggle with a box of Lucky charms. Chong starts eating the cereal and the camera starts swirling as if drug induced.

The cover was very cocky and showy. Head/armlock on Orton in the center of the ring. Orton free but then eats a clothesline. Ted solidly covers this time for two. They exchange punches and Orton gains some control, but not much. Orton hit’s a scoop slam. Orton stomps his way around Ted’s body. King taunts Cole about it being ‘vintage’ Orton. Cody in and attacks Orton.
- winner: Orton via DQ
They beat down on Orton but he somehow manages to fight back. Upper cut and dropkick on Ted and a backbreaker on Cody. Orton pulls Cody up from his spot on the apron but Ted saves Cody by pulling him away. Orton stares down at them as they back their way up the ramp.
King says DX will be facing the MizShow, even though they’re now known as ShoMiz.

Cheech says he’s fine man. Chong asks why he’s running his hair through Regal’s hair? Chong asks if he can still hang with Kelly? It’s Masters who says in Kelly’s voice that he can stop staring at his chest! Hornswoggle in with a ladder and gives Chong the box but Cheech stops him. Hornswoggle gives Cheech the box. Cheech says he’s allergic to marshmallows, but he’ll try. He starts on a sugar trip!
Video of Cena verbally attacking Vince. Vince says it’s all about business. Batista got the title shot for doing deals with Vince. If Cena wins a match against Batista then he can have a title shot at WM. Batista went in and purposefully got disqualified. Then Batista beat the heck out of Cena with a chair. King says there might be a possible confrontation between them tonight.

WWE Rewind - MITBLM Qualifying match between Christian and Carlito. Christian won.
The briefcase is hung above the ring. Swagger out to the ring. Santino out to face him.
They lock up and Swagger tries to back Santino into the corner. Santino ducks out and Swagger eats the corner. Santino jokes around hitting moves until Swagger hits his gut wrench power bomb for three.
- Winner: Swagger
Swagger poses and looks up at the briefcase. He’s qualified as well as Christian, Shelton, Kane and Ziggler. Swagger points to the WM sign.
Batista walks out of an office wearing a leather vest, chains, studded wrist bands, sunglass and surrounded by security. They start to head for the ring.
- Commercial
Cena out to the ring to bigger than normal pop! He said there’s a few people who told him Batista stole the title from him, screwed worst than Bret Hart. Not true, it was business. He and Vince had an agreement and he cashed. Wasn’t the first time, won’t be the last. Then Batista ambushed him and beat him until he couldn’t move and he doesn’t know why. They’ve both been in the WWE for a long time. They’ve never had a problem, sometimes they were even friends. Not Batista has a problem with him. Huge “Cena” chants. These people see the silver lining like Cena and he’s going to WM. He has a title match against Batista. It’s four weeks away. After what happened on RAW, he needs to pay Batista back and thinks we should do that right now. Batista out on stage. It’s actually more of a sleeveless leather shirt (black) than a vest. Cena asks if he’s seeing things? Batista the big bad animal now rolls with security. Batista says there not here to protect him, they’re there to protect Cena. He has no trouble hurting Cena, these guys are there to stop that. Batista says Cena can thank him at anytime. Cena says anytime, why not now in the ring. Or stand up there behind his security like a 6’6” 300lbs pansy! Batista smirked and coughed. A quiet “Cena” chant rolled through the arena. Batista says Cena’s a funny guy. The reason he did what he did last week is because he wants to face Cena at WM. They both get what they want and everyone’s happy. Cena’s right, they did start in WWE together. Their rise to the top practically identical, even though he’s glad to say they couldn’t be more different. He says they’re the two biggest stars since the Attitude Era. They both won Championships at WM21 and never looked back. But for some insane reason, this company has decided to label Cena as the man. The name and face of the WWE. Championships, magazine covers, commercials, movies. Somehow the torch was passed from Austin to Cena, when it should have been him. He should be the name and face of the WWE. He’s the biggest name in the company. So he did what he did last week for two… He’s cut off by a huge “Cena” chant. Batista turned to the fans and scowled at them for it. So he did what he did last week for two reasons. One was to beat the hell out of Cena at WM and prove he’s that much better than Cena. The second reason is that he can’t stand Cena. Cena asks that’s all this is about? Some fictional torch that few talk about and nobody’s even seen? Batista’s gotta focus up. Cena wants to be Champion and will take it at WM. He has something to say that’s very real and wants Batista to listen. Things did work out differently for the both of them and you know why? He works his butt off for this company. He’s the first to show up and the last to leave. Batista’s so cool he can’t even show up on time. Every single person in the WWE Universe knows he’s given his life for this business and Batista stands up there and expects the business to be given to him. Dave is all about himself and needs to look in a mirror. He’s selfish, always has been, always will be. Batista agrees, he doesn’t care about them. He’s there to make money, win titles. He doesn’t care about these people. He doesn’t care if they cheer him or boo him. He’s not here for them. Cena go ahead kissing babies and hugging fat girls, Batista will be in a gym somewhere training, thinking about beating Cena at WM. That’s a fact that every time they’re in the ring together that bad things happen to Cena. Wasn’t that long ago that he broke Cena’s neck (August 5, 2008). Cena starts freaking at that. Batista says he doesn’t care what Cena thinks. He can get everyone excited, all he does is bark, bark, bark. Batista will do what he’s good at, we all know what that is. Go ahead, say something inspiring. The whole WWE Universe wants to hear what Cena has to say. Batista says Cena can’t beat him and deep down he knows it. Batista drops the mic on the stage and raises his strap high. Cena just stares back.
Cole says Bret Hart will be back for his Farewell Address. King says DX will face ShoMiz for the Tag Team Championship tonight.

Cheech and Chong are all tanked on Lucky Charms. Chavo is dressed up in sombrero and fake moustache, but doesn’t agree with it. On the other side are Carlito and Primo in toques and fake moustaches. Primo said they can’t stand each other. Then Katie in a moustache beside Chavo. She says she’s bloody British. Then Yoshi in a moustache says something in Japanese. In comes a chicken in a cage. It says the Divas Pillow Fight Match is coming up soon. They’re all excited about that and throw back more cereal.
Zack Ryder in the ring. Out comes MVP to face him for another MITBLM Qualifier.
Zack on MVP hard, but MVP flips him around the ring quickly. MVP hits ballin’ while Rosa screams outside the ring. Play maker on Zack for three.
- Winner: MVP
MVP points to the WM sign. He’s all smiles.
Eve, Kelly and Gail Kim head for the ring. They’re all in PJ’s - tank tops and boy short. Kim in Hello Kitty, Kelly in SpongeBob, Kelly with cutie pie.
- Commercial
In the ring Justin announce Cheech and Chong. Cheech is wearing one of the red toques and moustaches that the Colon boys had on. Chong acts like he’s smoking his mic! Cheech says the shows been on for an hour and a half, or a day and a half! Chong said it’s those magic Cheerios man! They are there to announce the Divas for the Pillow fight. Not that they say much more than Kelly’s name over and over again. Hugs all around in the ring. Fox, Jillian and Maryse in more generic PJ’s. Cheech wishes them luck as they flee.
Maryse keeps flipping her hair and posing until they all attack her with their pillows. Jillian clotheslines a couple, then beats on everyone with her pillow. Cheech and Chong are ringside looking on all smiles. She “sings” in the ring until Kelly gets her in the face with the pillow. Kelly leg drops Jillian for two. Maryse hit’s a DDT on Kelly for two until Kim breaks it up. Kim and Eve on Maryse. Kim hit’s a backbreaker on Maryse but Eve breaks the pin. They argue. Fox clotheslines them both to the mat. Fox starts beating on Kim with her pillow. Kim hits her finisher on Fox but then is dropkicked from the ring by Eve. Eve hits her flipping leg drop on Fox for three (that was a kick butt move!).
- Winner: Eve
Hornswoggle out from under the ring with boxes of cereal. They all start throwing cereal all over. Cole and King gets it flung at them. Chong gets it dumped on him, a mess all over. King tries to eat some but Cole stops him as they still have some of the show to do.
The next inductee into the WWE HOF is Maurice ‘Mad Dog’ Vachon! They put together a great video of his career.
King says Bret Hart’s Farewell Address is next.
- Commercial
King and Cole talk about NXT. They go on to talk about the matches already slated for WM.
In the ring Justin starts introducing Bret Hart, but Vince’s music stops him in his tracks. Vince wants the honor to introduce Bret to the ring. Vince says Bret is the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be. He’s a WWE HOFer and a man he holds the utmost respect for. Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart. Bret comes wobbling out on his one crutch and using it completely wrong for only having the one. Video of the feud between these two leading up to this. Vince says before they get started, Vince wants Bret to clear his name in the accident that happened a few weeks ago. Bret says he doesn’t know if that’s true or not, but he does know that Vince has treated him like garbage since he came to the WWE this time. He needs to get the hell out of the ring. Vince says he’s sorry. Vince stops before leaving and says Bret called him a liar, a world champion liar. If you’re going to be good at something, why not being the World Champion. See, Bret’s not here to give his Farewell Address, Vince lied! Bret’s not surprised. Why was he asked here? So Vince could sulk back to the dressing room saying Bret screwed Bret? Vince said he screwed Bret and it feels good! Vince asks if Bret challenged him to a match at WM? Vince remembers hearing those words! Bret says he’s a little incapacitated. Vince says so he is! He didn’t notice. He has a broken leg and ligament damage, but even a dried up fossil like him can heal in six weeks. He didn’t come back to make things right and get that all off his chest. He came back because for years it’s been in him. He’s wanted to fight Vince. Bret said fair enough, he’s wanted to fight Vince for 13 years. Vince asks why not fight him? Why not? WM? It’s his dream. Doesn’t Bret want his dreams to come true? Doesn’t he remember that he’s the guy who screwed him in Montreal! He’s the one who sent him to the WCW where he embarrassed himself. He’s the guys who spit in his face. He’s the guy who lied and said Stu would be in this year’s HOF. Is that motivation enough for him? How about having his dreams come true. If not for himself, how about his fans all over the world. Do you want to see Bret Hart in the ring one more time. He might not be 100%, but he’s a Canadian hero! Would everybody here like to see Bret in a WM match with him? Bret says he knows Vince is trying to goad him into a match. He can’t wrestle, he has a broken leg, idiot! Vince says he hates to hear those words, his last name used to stand for something. But now he has no heart. You know what he’s become standing here letting everyone down. Bret Hart’s a coward. Vince then kicks the crutch away and Bret falls to the mat. Bret’s selling the pain well. Vince knocks the crutch away as bet reaches for it. Vince leaves the ring and call Bret a coward. Yellow to the bone, rotten to the core. Bret yells that if Vince wants the match at WM, he’s got it! Vince smiles a lot and then turns to leave. At the stage Vince says Bret might not be at 100%, but he is. To show Vince physical conditioning next week, he’ll be taking on Cena as Bret watches from home. Vince mocks Bret’s crutch as he leaves the stage. Bret sits and slides out of the ring. He grabs his crutch and starts to leave.
Backstage ShoMiz is heading for the ring.

Platinum Wrestling World Wide "Sweet Sacrifice" Results
Platinum Wrestling World Wide "Sweet Sacrifice" Results 2-27-10
The Commissioner of Platinum Wrestling World Wide Mark Reil then came to the ring and brought out Platinum Wrestling Worldwides beloved Ring Announcer, Kamron King. King announced that due to an injury sustained a few weeks prior, that “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico would not be able to fight Brutus Dylan for the Platinum Championship this evening. He called for Brutus to come and get the newly designed Platinum Wrestling World Wide Championship. Brutus strutted to the ring and accepted his new championship, and then told Commissioner Reil he was taking the night off to a chorus of boos. Suddenly, Erico came out with his son Taylor and a clipboard!
Erico began by saying that although his doctor, the Indiana State Athletic Commission and Platinum Wrestling World Wide were not going to sanction a title match that night, they allowed Erico to sign a waiver contract that waived all parties from liability so Erico could still fight Brutus! Brutus was furious about this decision and took a cheap shot on Erico’s injured leg and left the ring.
The first match of the evening was a Showtime Division match, and pitted “The Sultan of Sexy” Carl Morris vs “Big” John Cooper vs Kris Dazed vs Chris Ross.
As “Big” John Cooper made his entrance to the ring he was attacked for a third straight month by the mysterious man in the mask! He was left in a heap as the match started. Lots of fast action (well, for the most part) by our three remaining competitors, saw “The Sultan of Sexy” get the victory in a less than legitimate fashion. After the match, Cooper called out the masked man. His wish was granted as the masked man hit the ring and attacked Cooper from behind! Cooper fought back and finally got his hands on the masked man! He tried to take the mask off only to find that underneath the mask was Captain Spaulding!!! Captain Spaulding had not been in a Platinum ring in over a year! Cooper tried to see who Captain Spaulding was but Spaulding got away from Cooper and fled. Winner: “The Sultan of Sexy” Carl Morris
The next match was the debut match for Navy Blue, the newest member of Platinum Wrestling World Wide, going one on one against The Wasabi Dragon. Impressive debut for Navy Blue who stir-fried the “Dragon” in under five minutes. Winner: Navy Blue
“The Prime Cut” Nick Cutler defended his newly won Platinum National Title against “Shady” Chris Xion in a match that was signed because of the recent problems these two have had. In a very physical and emotional match it looked as though Shady had won the National Title, however the referee did not notice Cutler’s foot on the rope until it was too late. Cutler took advantage of the mistake and trapped “Shady” in the Clutch to retain his National Title.
After the match Cutler refused to relinquish the hold and as the referee pleaded with Cutler to stop, Steve Boz came to the ring and broke it up! Suddenly, Commissioner Mark Reil, who had watched the match from ringside, came to the ring and told Nick Cutler that at Platinum Wrestling’s next show, entitled “Payin’ Dues”, that Cutler would have to defend the Platinum Wrestling Worldwide National Title against Steve Boz, and if Cutler even touches Steve Boz before that match that he would be stripped of the title. Commissioner Reil advised Boz that it was in his best interest not to attack Cutler, either. Boz took Reil’s hand and forced him to smack Cutler, which enraged Cutler to the point where he hit Commissioner Reil with the National Championship! What will happen March 27th when these two men face each other one more time for the National Championship?! Winner and STILL PWW National Champion: “The Prime Cut” Nick Cutler
After intermission it was time for the Platinum Wrestling Worldwide Tag Team Championship to take place. The titles were recently vacated by the champions and this match was the finals in the tournament to determine the new Platinum Tag Team Champions. The first team was the team of Adam Bueller & Ryan Epic vs.Omega Fire (“Young Gunn” Brian Nelson & “G2” Greg Glover). Very fast paced match saw Omega Fire finally win the Platinum Wrestling Tag Team Championship! Winners and NEW Platinum Wrestling Tag Team Champions: OmegaFire
The next contest was between two newcomers to Platinum Wrestling, TW3 going one on one with “Ruff Ryder” Rashaad. Very physical match up these two guys impressed in their debut but at the end of the evening it was “Ruff Ryder” going to the pay window. Winner: “Ruff Ryder” Rashaad
Steve Boz had his hands full last night not only with “The Prime Cut”, but also with his opponent for the evening Diego Corleone. Very physical match-up as Corleone is not someone to underestimate. Cutler came to ringside to get a closer look at his opponent for ‘Payin’ Dues’, and at one point even sent the belt into the ring to try and help Corleone. The plan backfired however as Boz got the belt and used it to his advantage! He threw Diego into Cutler (who was on the apron) and rolled him up for the one-two-three! Winner: Steve Boz
Next up was the main event of the evening as the Platinum Wrestling World Wide Champion “The Best in the Midwest” Brutus Dylan went one on one with “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico in a First Blood match!!! The match started very quickly as Brutus tried to cheap shot Erico however Erico came back quickly with a few vicious shots with his cane. There was a lot of back and forth action between these two superstars as neither could gain a clear advantage. They took the fight outside the ring and were laying into each other. At one point Erico’s son Taylor jumped onto Brutus’s back to help his father, however it was a mistake as Dylan threw Taylor off his back. This enraged Erico and he started really laying into Brutus, using a chain wrapped around his fist, the chain wrapped around his cane and a steel chair, however Brutus still was not bleeding!
The action spilled outside this time and Erico (who was originally banned from wrestling because of a broken femur bone) climbed to the top of a stack of tables and moonsaulted onto Dylan, followed by a leg drop on the concrete floor! Dylan came back with a stiff kick on Erico who was sitting in a chair, the chair slid back and tipped over, taking Erico head first onto the concrete! That did not stop “The International Wrestling Superstar” as he took Dylan OUTSIDE to inflict more punishment, including a cross body attempt off of a 1994 Ford Explorer!!!!
Once the action came back inside the fighting did not stop there as Erico tried to do a cross body over the top rope to the floor but instead of hitting Dylan he hit “Big” John Cooper who was videotaping the match!
Dylan was about to crush Erico’s skull in with the video camera when Taylor came in and hit Brutus with the steel chair! Brutus grabbed the chair from Taylor and was going to use it on Erico however Erico super-kicked the chair into Brutus’s face, causing the Platinum Champion to bleed! Winner: “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico
The Aftermath: After the match Commissioner Mark Reil came out and announced that the Platinum Board of Directors made a decision and at ‘Payin’ Dues’ on March 27th that Brutus Dylan would defend his Platinum Wrestling Championship against Erico in a 3 Stages of Hell match!
One has to wonder what will happen in under 4 weeks time at ‘Payin’ Dues’ when Erico finally gets his shot at the Platinum Wrestling World Wide Championship. Will Steve Boz and Nick Cutler stay away from each other long enough for their match to take place? Who will the new Tag Team Champions Omega Fire defend their titles against? Will “Big” John Cooper finally get his hands on Captain Spaulding? There is only one way to find out and that is to be in attendance LIVE March 27th, 2010 at the American Legion Post 37, 756 E. US 20 in Michigan City, Indiana… Tickets are on sale now and are only $15 for Front Row and $10 for General Admission. Show your Brown Mackie, Ivy Tech or Purdue Student ID and receive $2 off the price of General Admission tickets. Until next time this is Mike Denton reporting for Platinum Wrestling World Wide, and we’ll see you at the show!
"Wrestling Babylon" author Irv Muchnick reported on his website that the cause of death for former WWE star Eddie "Umaga" Fatu's death was caused by "acute toxicity due to combined effects of hydrocodone, carisoprodol, and diazepam." Hydrocone is a painkiller. Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxer. Diazepam is an anti-anxiety medication. Fatu passed away on 12/4. WWE, which released him after he refused to go to a mandated rehab program following his second WWE Wellness Policy failure, did not acknowledge his passing on television.
Muchnick's source was an email he received from the Harris County medical examiner in Houston, Texas.
Awesome Kong posted the following on her twitter ac ount "I'd like to thank @tnaDixie and all of the employees for wishing me the very best in my future endeavors."

The building was packed. It was literally standing room only, as a row of people stood along the back wall.
1. Jerome LTP Robinson and Johnny Goodtime defeated Ryan Taylor and Malachai Jackson. Thrilling, fast-paced opener. Goodtime and Taylor started things off with some impressive chain wrestling that drew sustained applause from the crowd. The match saw several innovative maneuvers that words don t do justice. Among them were a flipping tombstone piledriver/Canadian destroyer hybrid and a flipping snapmare faceplant. The finish saw Goodtime hit a double boot stomp off the top rope to the back of Taylor s head, followed by a 450 splash from Robinson.
2. Scott Lost defeated Brandon Gatson. Another face-paced, action-packed match. Highlights included a sick submission hold by by Lost. Gatson had been thrown through the turnbuckles to the pole. Lost climbed to the top rope, grabbed Gatson s legs, and put him into a hanging sharpshooter around the turnbuckles. Awesome spot. Gatson picked up the win with what can only be described as a front-flipping faceplant sidewalk slam. That s the best I can do with the words I know.
After this match, Human Tornado came out and said a heartfelt goodbye to the PWG crowd. Tornado announced his retirement last month. The crowd gave him a standing ovation and chanted for him not to go. Tornado acknowledged a little boy, who couldn t have been more than ten, that was responding loudly to his promo. This boy would factor into the night several more times.
3. Roderick Strong defeated Chris Sabin. The crowd was hot throughout the entirety of this match, as dueling chants for the two combatants broke out in the building several times. The match ended when Strong put Sabin in a torture rack, then tossed into the air and Sabin landed on both of Strong s knees. Strong followed this up with a buzzkick for the win.
4. Joey Ryan, Brandon Bonham, and Candice Larae defeated The Cutler Bros. and Christina Von Eerie. Fun match. Ryan kissed both girls throughout the match and would often tag in for his team by slapping Candice on the ass when she was in the ring. Candice picked up the win with a swinging top-rope neckbreaker on Von Eerie.
Intermission.
5. Chris Hero defeated Alex Shelley in a phenomenal match. The crowd was hot from start to finish, and these two put on a great performance. Hero won with a swinging neckbreaker. Afterwards, Hero got on the mic and put over Shelley huge as a legitimate singles star in addition to his tag team prowess. Shelley thanked the crowd and gave his t-shirt to the animated 10 year old boy.
6. Generation Me (The Young Bucks) defeated El Generico and Chuck Taylor to retain the PWG Tag Team Titles. The Bucks won a solid tag match after hitting Too Much Bang for Your Buck on Taylor. Bucks are the biggest heels in PWG.
7. Davey Richards defeated Kenny Omega to become PWG Champion. The match began with solid chain wrestling, and during this time, the now-legendary 10 year old boy loudly shouted his thoughts about the match. This prompted some guy to yell Shut up, kid! from across the building. Moments later, the boy was loudly talking again, and the crowd erupted in a Past your bed-time chant.
Moments later still, Richards yelled at the kid to go home and go to bed. We didn t hear much from the kid after that. The match was incredible. More false finishes than I could count. Each performer kicked out of countless finishers, but the end came when Richards applied the arm bar for the fourth or fifth time and Omega finally tapped. Richards got on the mic and put over the PWG Title as the only belt he s really wanted to have in his career. Omega put over Richards, and then Richards invited fans into the ring to celebrate with him.
WWE.com has announced that Charlie Haas has been released. He was wished all the best in his future endeavors.

PWAQ presents "RISE OF THE WARRIORS IV" - MAY 14 & 15!
We are proud to announce that this year's Rise of the Warriors tournament will be held at Bray Park PCYC on May 14 and 15. Rise of the Warriors has become an institution within PWA Queensland since its beginning. Rise of the Warriors is PWA Queensland's annual sixteen-man elimination tournament, bringing not only the best wrestlers from around Australia, but from around the world as well, to compete over two nights. In 2007, Mason Childs defeated Chris Hero in the Rise of the Warriors final at Eagleby to become the first ever PWA International Champion, and went on to have an eleven month reign with the title, establishing himself as one of Queensland's finest wrestlers still to this day. In 2008, Esteban Molina defeated Chris Hero in the Rise of the Warriors 2 final at Cleveland. Esteban would later go on to capture the PWA International Title, which he also held for an impressive eleven months, and has gone on to become a national star. In 2009, AJ Istria defeated Carlo Cannon, Esteban Molina and Mason Childs in the Rise of the Warriors 3 final at Cleveland. AJ Istria then went on to become the PWA International Champion, establishing himself as a true Australia-wide wrestling star as he did so. This year's tournament will follow last year's tournament format, with sixteen man facing off in first round matches, with a second round between the eight winners, and the final four going into a Four Man Showdown - a match that has become a staple in PWA Queensland. The qualifying for this year's tournament will be similar to previous years, except with the PWA Queensland Tag Team Champions, PWA Underground Champion, and former Rise of the Warriors winners all receiving automatic entry into the tournament. With this in mind, we now have the following people qualified for Rise of the Warriors 4 at Bray Park:
* Mason Childs (ROTW1 winner)
* Esteban Molina (ROTW2 winner)
* AJ Istria (ROTW3 winner)
* Sean O'Shea (PWA Queensland Tag Team champion)
* Mikey Broderick (PWA Queensland Tag Team champion)
* Zero (PWA Underground champion)
* Johnny Lukas (Rumble winner)
There will still be four wild-card entries into this tournament, which can be accepted by anyone across the world.
There will also be more qualifying matches over the weeks leading to Rise of the Warriors 4, with local talent doing their best to try and qualify and gain entry into the tournament. At Beenleigh Arena on February 13, when Commissioner St. Michael announced the entry of Childs, Molina, Istria, O'Shea, Broderick and Zero into Rise, a scuffle broke out between Childs and O'Shea, and Broderick and Zero respectively. All four men have demanded first round matches against each other and have been granted these wishes! So far, the four blocks look as follows:

World Wrestling Entertainment also released referee Scott Armstrong today. Armstrong was hired shortly after the company launched the ECW brand in 2006. Armstrong, son of Southern legend Bob Armstrong, also refereed for WCW following a long in-ring career. A number of WWE workers were really bummed hearing he was let go as he was well liked by the wrestlers.

Welcome Internet Wrestling Fans - BREAKOUT 4 UFC 110 In Sydney
The Ultimate Fighting Championship hit Sydney Australia on Sunday afternoon and what a day it was. I've been to many WWE live events but this was my first UFC/MMA event and my first pay per view event and it was more then I expected. The best fight for me on the card was Australia's own George Sotiropoulos vs Joe Stevenson, the Aussie fans were really behind George and he came out the winner via unanimous decision. It was great to see a MMA legend such as Wanderlei Silva fight live and also defeat Michael Bisping via unanimous decision. Bruce Buffer was a really exciting ring announcer and made the whole event very entertainment in the non fight side of things. Not going to touch on UFC to much as this is a wrestling column but for more news and results on UFC 110 head over to FightMMA.net. Thanks UFC for coming to Australia and glad to hear you'll be coming back. Daniel Bryan Push
Stars like Samoa Joe, Desmond Wolfe, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are truly the future stars of professional wrestling. It was great to see Bryan Danielson finally in a WWE ring after nearly 10 years on the independents, everyone would have to agree with me that no one would of expected such a big push, facing World champion Chris Jericho on the very first episode of WWE NXT. It's going to be very interesting to see what WWE do with Daniel Bryan, I can see a feud building with his WWE Pro The Miz in which Bryan may have a United States title run. I'm very happy to finally see Danielson in the WWE can you can put this guy up there with some of the best pure wrestlers names like Angle, Guerrero and even Benoit yes I said the B word, please don't stuff this one up Vince.
Thoughts On Elimination Chamber/Sheamus
Very disappointing that Sheamus did not retain the WWE Championship, I've become a Sheamus fan over the last few months ever since he won the title back at the TLC PPV in December last year. Sheamus needed to win the chamber match to really put him over as the guy WWE have been trying to get him as (well half trying) I can see why they took the title off him (to enhance the Cena/Batista match at mania) but I honestly think Sheamus could of went in to Wrestlemania 26 as champion and faced Triple H with Sheamus getting the win, and now you have a mega star in Sheamus, but WWE dropped the ball on the Sheamus experiment. I've been hearing negative reviews about the RAW chamber match but I enjoyed it and was entertained by it as well as the Smackdown chamber match in which Chris Jericho pinned Undertaker (help from HBK) to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and will now face Edge at Wrestlemania.
My Wrestlemania 26 Card - Next Two Matches
In last edition of Breakout I announced a 3 way match for the Intercontinental title, Drew McIntye v Dolph Ziggler v John Morrision. This match I think has a lot of interest with 3 of WWE's best upcoming stars facing off for the IC title at WWE's biggest show of the year, this match will help all 3 and should help elevate the Intercontinental title. If you watched WWE Elimination Chamber this past Monday (Aussie time) a Randy Orton v Ted Dibiase match looks like it's in the works for WM26 this year and this is the next match on my Wrestlemania 26 card. Orton has to work as the heel and Dibiase as face in this match with Cody Rhodes undecided on who he will align with. Next match will be for the World Heavyweight Championship as The Undertaker goes up against John Cena, streak v title. John Cena is the only top star on the WWE roster (except Chris Jericho) not to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Wrestlemania 26 Card So Far
MITB Ladder Match
Christen v Shelton v MVP v MHardy v Kofi v Punk 3 Way - Intercontinental Title
Drew McInyre v Dolp Ziggler v John Morrison
Randy Orton v Ted Dibiase World Title v WM Streak
The Undertaker v John Cena

Jim Cornette Slams WWE Over Young Talent and Gimmicks
FORMER WWE trainer Jim Cornette has slammed the federation over their selection and handling of up and coming wrestlers.
New WWE show NXT has just launched in the US and UK, which sees trainees being put through their paces and taught to work in the company's style.
Jim spent years developing talent for WWE, as head of their feeder group Ohio Valley Wrestling, before leaving in 2005. And he now claims that stars are only taught how to act, not how to wrestle, and that things haven't been the same since John Laurinitis replaced Jim Ross as the man in charge of recruitment. Cornette told issue 51 of Fighting Spirit Magazine: "I wanted to train wrestlers to be good wrestlers, to be able to go out and have good matches of any length with anybody of any style, both safely and entertainingly... that process takes years. "In WWE, Jim Ross knew how to recruit athletes who were coachable, dedicated and who had a passion for wrestling. "He'd leave them alone and let them develop, because you can't teach everything in the gym — you've got have experience in front of people. "When John Laurinitis took over though, the first thing he did was stop recruiting American football players or independent wrestlers and he started looking to bodybuilding competitions and lingerie catalogues. "I'm not kidding when I say that either — we had a girl one time that ran the ropes three times and then passed out. "Then they'll leave the talent alone for five to 10 months instead of five to 10 years, no matter what their age, even if they're just teenagers. "They want to train guys to work gimmicks. I wanted guys to learn to wrestle, and then use something about themselves about how to present them. "They come up with gimmicks and find someone to fit the suit... if they don't work, they kick them aside and find someone else, only to repeat the same mistake." Jim — now working for Ring Of Honor — also looked back at some of the potential headliners who slipped through the net, including the WWE's controversial Eugene character, played by Nick Dinsmore He added: "Nick is a good example. Jonny Jeter of the Spirit Squad was also a great kid who had tremendous potential — he was like a young Ricky Morton selling his ass off, and the girls and the young people really got behind him. "Doug and Danny Basham were a great tag team who drew money for me in a wrestling school, main-eventing shows that were drawing a thousand people. "When they brought them up to WWE though, they put them with Linda Miles — the worst wrestling school student I've ever seen — who hadn't a clue what she was doing, but was telling them what to do and beating them with a whip, making them the comedy flunky guys. "The way they used Jeter, it was like the St Valentine's Day Massacre of booking, putting five guys together in a group and shooting them against the wall at the same time."All of these people are pretty much out of the wrestling business now. "Jeter's quit, the Bashams are out and the only way Nick Dinsmore can get booked is on these foreign tours where he does some portion of the Eugene gimmick. "We used to have shows at the high school where Nick Dinsmore graduated in Southern Indiana — we'd have shows once a year and he would draw five, six, seven, maybe 800 people."When he went on WWE TV and became Eugene, he came back to the same place for us and drew 200 people. Why would anyone from that high school be proud that someone who was being presented as a retard on television graduated from their school? "So we gave them wrestling school talent that drew money, they became WWE superstars, and came back and drew less what they did before they went there!"
