First Edition Of Facebook Fan Interview - Jimmy Pavlovic

Here is the very 1st Facebook Fan Interview with Jimmy Pavlovic from Melbourne Australia.

I have always loved sport played it, watched it & still today follow it, I'm a bloke whom knows the difference between fiction and non fiction But I love watching and doings things that involving meeting people, also having fun and looking at the bright side of life and that's why I love wrestling it's fun to watch and gives me an opportunity to do or watch something that gives you an escape from the day to day hustle and mad rush we all seem to be on. These days and most importantly I've learned to enjoy each day as a challenge to grow rather then just go through the motions as a person.

How long have you been a wrestling fan?

I started in 1976 with Australian wrestling going live to watch at festival hall then i was hooked.

Who were some of your favorites in Australian wrestling back in the 70's

I got to meet Mario Milano back stage after that very first show he is a Legend in Australian wrestling and became my first favorite great man true gentleman, then Ron Miller & Spiros Arino.

Are you a fan of the current Australian wrestling scene?

Not really those were the golden days of Australian wrestling, I honestly couldn't name one current Australian wrestler as they stopped showing it on channel 9 free to air they lost so many great fans too. But i could reel off one after the other during that fabulous era.

Do you watch WWE or TNA or both and what are your thoughts on both company’s?

Yes both I've  watched WWE since Wrestlemania 1 when we got to see it live from satellite from Madison Square Garden it was such a great show and I've always been a loyal WWF/WWE fan since, and I do have plenty of time for WWE. TNA as I respect Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley and they are starting to develop a show that will grow but it takes time.

Who are your favorite WWE & TNA stars?

TNA I see a huge future for Matt Morgan in TNA he could be awesome he has it all, AJ Styles with Ric Flair tutoring him he has the potential to lift TNA to huge heights, Samoa Joe & I like Beer money because they remind me of true old fashion wrestlers whom have done it the hard way and do it because they love it. WWE the best body I ever saw was on Paul Orndorff, my all time favorite is The Rock with Hulk Hogan close 2nd only because The Rock is recent and people forget how much impact Hulk Hogan had on wrestling especially turning WWF into a global empire.

Were you a fan of the original ECW?

Yes, I saw a pirate tape of RVD for the first time I thought it was Claude Van Damme,  but it turned out to be Rob Van Dam, he would be a huge asset to TNA. Tommy Dreamer was my favourite he was really nuts but no one as sick as Sabu he did things in the ring that would make the devil himself scared. Plus it was different alternative to WWF & WCW at the time.

Thoughts on World Championship Wrestling?

I watched it before it became huge in the late 80's I honestly think Sting would have been huge in WWF, Lex Luger was my favorite & I remember seeing Mean Mark whom went on to become the deadman he is today the Undertaker it amazes me today how many current or recent retired WWF wrestlers slipped through the fingers of WCW. Yet those same mistakes seem to be re-occurring now at TNA.

For any non wrestling fans out there how would you describe professional wrestling and what it's all about, for those who seem to look down on it.

I love wrestling because it is a live action film unfolding before your very eyes. You see them make mistakes which happens but they do every single move without any stunt doubles, or directors yelling cut and these days especially they push themselves even further then ever before which is why they get injured. They look at me and say that's a fair point they never looked at it form that point of view.

Thanks to Jimmy Pavlovic. Anyone wanting to do a fan interview please get in contact with us.
Interview was done over Facebook.
