Platinum Wrestling World Wide "Sweet Sacrifice" Results
Platinum Wrestling World Wide "Sweet Sacrifice" Results 2-27-10

The Commissioner of Platinum Wrestling World Wide Mark Reil then came to the ring and brought out Platinum Wrestling Worldwides beloved Ring Announcer, Kamron King. King announced that due to an injury sustained a few weeks prior, that “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico would not be able to fight Brutus Dylan for the Platinum Championship this evening. He called for Brutus to come and get the newly designed Platinum Wrestling World Wide Championship. Brutus strutted to the ring and accepted his new championship, and then told Commissioner Reil he was taking the night off to a chorus of boos. Suddenly, Erico came out with his son Taylor and a clipboard!

Erico began by saying that although his doctor, the Indiana State Athletic Commission and Platinum Wrestling World Wide were not going to sanction a title match that night, they allowed Erico to sign a waiver contract that waived all parties from liability so Erico could still fight Brutus! Brutus was furious about this decision and took a cheap shot on Erico’s injured leg and left the ring.

The first match of the evening was a Showtime Division match, and pitted “The Sultan of Sexy” Carl Morris vs “Big” John Cooper vs Kris Dazed vs Chris Ross.

As “Big” John Cooper made his entrance to the ring he was attacked for a third straight month by the mysterious man in the mask! He was left in a heap as the match started. Lots of fast action (well, for the most part) by our three remaining competitors, saw “The Sultan of Sexy” get the victory in a less than legitimate fashion. After the match, Cooper called out the masked man. His wish was granted as the masked man hit the ring and attacked Cooper from behind! Cooper fought back and finally got his hands on the masked man! He tried to take the mask off only to find that underneath the mask was Captain Spaulding!!! Captain Spaulding had not been in a Platinum ring in over a year! Cooper tried to see who Captain Spaulding was but Spaulding got away from Cooper and fled.
Winner: “The Sultan of Sexy” Carl Morris

The next match was the debut match for Navy Blue, the newest member of Platinum Wrestling World Wide, going one on one against The Wasabi Dragon. Impressive debut for Navy Blue who stir-fried the “Dragon” in under five minutes.
Winner: Navy Blue

“The Prime Cut” Nick Cutler defended his newly won Platinum National Title against “Shady” Chris Xion in a match that was signed because of the recent problems these two have had. In a very physical and emotional match it looked as though Shady had won the National Title, however the referee did not notice Cutler’s foot on the rope until it was too late. Cutler took advantage of the mistake and trapped “Shady” in the Clutch to retain his National Title.

After the match Cutler refused to relinquish the hold and as the referee pleaded with Cutler to stop, Steve Boz came to the ring and broke it up! Suddenly, Commissioner Mark Reil, who had watched the match from ringside, came to the ring and told Nick Cutler that at Platinum Wrestling’s next show, entitled “Payin’ Dues”, that Cutler would have to defend the Platinum Wrestling Worldwide National Title against Steve Boz, and if Cutler even touches Steve Boz before that match that he would be stripped of the title. Commissioner Reil advised Boz that it was in his best interest not to attack Cutler, either. Boz took Reil’s hand and forced him to smack Cutler, which enraged Cutler to the point where he hit Commissioner Reil with the National Championship! What will happen March 27th when these two men face each other one more time for the National Championship?!
Winner and STILL PWW National Champion: “The Prime Cut” Nick Cutler

After intermission it was time for the Platinum Wrestling Worldwide Tag Team Championship to take place. The titles were recently vacated by the champions and this match was the finals in the tournament to determine the new Platinum Tag Team Champions. The first team was the team of Adam Bueller & Ryan Epic vs.Omega Fire (“Young Gunn” Brian Nelson & “G2” Greg Glover). Very fast paced match saw Omega Fire finally win the Platinum Wrestling Tag Team Championship!
Winners and NEW Platinum Wrestling Tag Team Champions: OmegaFire

The next contest was between two newcomers to Platinum Wrestling, TW3 going one on one with “Ruff Ryder” Rashaad. Very physical match up these two guys impressed in their debut but at the end of the evening it was “Ruff Ryder” going to the pay window.
Winner: “Ruff Ryder” Rashaad

Steve Boz had his hands full last night not only with “The Prime Cut”, but also with his opponent for the evening Diego Corleone. Very physical match-up as Corleone is not someone to underestimate. Cutler came to ringside to get a closer look at his opponent for ‘Payin’ Dues’, and at one point even sent the belt into the ring to try and help Corleone. The plan backfired however as Boz got the belt and used it to his advantage! He threw Diego into Cutler (who was on the apron) and rolled him up for the one-two-three!
Winner: Steve Boz

Next up was the main event of the evening as the Platinum Wrestling World Wide Champion “The Best in the Midwest” Brutus Dylan went one on one with “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico in a First Blood match!!!
The match started very quickly as Brutus tried to cheap shot Erico however Erico came back quickly with a few vicious shots with his cane. There was a lot of back and forth action between these two superstars as neither could gain a clear advantage. They took the fight outside the ring and were laying into each other. At one point Erico’s son Taylor jumped onto Brutus’s back to help his father, however it was a mistake as Dylan threw Taylor off his back. This enraged Erico and he started really laying into Brutus, using a chain wrapped around his fist, the chain wrapped around his cane and a steel chair, however Brutus still was not bleeding!

The action spilled outside this time and Erico (who was originally banned from wrestling because of a broken femur bone) climbed to the top of a stack of tables and moonsaulted onto Dylan, followed by a leg drop on the concrete floor! Dylan came back with a stiff kick on Erico who was sitting in a chair, the chair slid back and tipped over, taking Erico head first onto the concrete! That did not stop “The International Wrestling Superstar” as he took Dylan OUTSIDE to inflict more punishment, including a cross body attempt off of a 1994 Ford Explorer!!!!

Once the action came back inside the fighting did not stop there as Erico tried to do a cross body over the top rope to the floor but instead of hitting Dylan he hit “Big” John Cooper who was videotaping the match!

Dylan was about to crush Erico’s skull in with the video camera when Taylor came in and hit Brutus with the steel chair! Brutus grabbed the chair from Taylor and was going to use it on Erico however Erico super-kicked the chair into Brutus’s face, causing the Platinum Champion to bleed!
Winner: “The International Wrestling Superstar” Erico

The Aftermath: After the match Commissioner Mark Reil came out and announced that the Platinum Board of Directors made a decision and at ‘Payin’ Dues’ on March 27th that Brutus Dylan would defend his Platinum Wrestling Championship against Erico in a 3 Stages of Hell match!

One has to wonder what will happen in under 4 weeks time at ‘Payin’ Dues’ when Erico finally gets his shot at the Platinum Wrestling World Wide Championship. Will Steve Boz and Nick Cutler stay away from each other long enough for their match to take place? Who will the new Tag Team Champions Omega Fire defend their titles against? Will “Big” John Cooper finally get his hands on Captain Spaulding? There is only one way to find out and that is to be in attendance LIVE March 27th, 2010 at the American Legion Post 37, 756 E.
